Our essential Tech Wash twin packs each contain the two products you need to ensure your kit will perform for you whatever the weather. They will also help your clothing last longer, which in the long run will save you money.

Tech Wash is the high performance cleaner for use on waterproofs and fleeces through to softshell jackets. It cleans better than household detergent because it does not leave any water-attracting residues on fabric and will revive the durable water repellency (DWR) so you don’t have to re-proof as often, which will save on energy usage with your washing machine.

• TX.Direct® is the market-leading waterproofer that will replenish DWR on your wet weather clothing when cleaning alone no longer revives it. It maintains breathability, preventing you from feeling clammy, and the treatment will develop whilst air drying, so you don’t need to use a tumbler drier!
  

• SoftShell Proof replenishes DWR on softshell jackets. Softshells are a versatile outer layer that are both windproof and waterproof, so maintaining their breathability and preventing water absorption is key to ensuring your comfort.
  

• PolarProof® adds DWR to synthetic fleece fabrics. Fleece is highly water absorbent and can hold up to 50% of its weight in water, which will impair its insulation properties, causing you to feel cold. PolarProof helps maintain the breathability and insulation properties of fleece, plus it inhibits pilling which will keep garments looking newer for longer.
